The music revolution continues as Grammy Award-winning, multi-platinum recording artist sHaVo oDaDjIaN (System of a Down), along with Sway and King Tech of the legendary “Wake Up Show,�? will unveil an all-new music-specific social networking website, music label and premiere online music district called urSESSION.com launching its BETA tomorrow, Thursday, January 31. It’s an online destination that will shift how music is experienced, discovered and promoted.

urSESSION.com offers three main components: 1) urAudition, the online, non-exclusive, voluntary “audition�? feature where musical acts of all kinds do just that: audition their music; 2) urCommunity, the social and professional networking feature based around members of the community who can expose/promote themselves and connect with each other; And 3) urBand is a dynamic classifieds that enables musicians to find the missing piece to their band or start a band by searching the urSESSION community of musicians by genre, specialty (e.g., guitar, vocals) and location. They may visit the profiles that meet their search criteria and view/listen to that artists media for an instant audition. Nothing is geared to just one segment of the market. It interests all those involved in the music world, while providing users with different types of features in multiple music styles from rap to country.

I don’t have an A&R guy wearing a suit somewhere trying to do what’s been done again…the kids are the ones who want to take chances.�? Another unique element of urSESSION.com is its capability to act as an online ‘arts district,’ where various music programs can utilize the site for exclusive content.
